EXTERNAL & INTERNAL WORK
External and internal work in construction refer to the processes involved in building and finishing the exterior and interior parts of a structure, respectively.
External work typically includes activities such as site preparation, foundation construction, building framing, roofing, siding, and landscaping. These tasks are focused on creating the shell and exterior appearance of the building, ensuring it is weatherproof, structurally sound, and visually appealing.
Site preparation involves clearing and leveling the land, while foundation construction establishes the base upon which the structure will be built. Building framing, roofing, and siding are essential for enclosing the structure and protecting it from the elements. Landscaping adds the finishing touches, enhancing the external appearance of the building and providing functionality and aesthetic appeal to outdoor spaces.

Internal work, on the other hand, encompasses the processes involved in finishing the interior spaces of a building. This includes tasks such as interior partitioning, flooring, painting, installation of fixtures and fittings, electrical and plumbing work, and interior decorating.
Interior partitioning divides the space into rooms and areas according to the building's layout and design requirements. Flooring materials such as hardwood, tile, carpet, or laminate are installed to provide durable and visually appealing surfaces. Painting and decorating give the interior spaces their final aesthetic touches, while the installation of fixtures and fittings, electrical, and plumbing work ensure functionality and comfort.
